It’s yesterday evening that the sad news has popped on social media: Tony Allen, master drummer, Afrobeat sound’s architect, has died at 79 yo. I have the biggest respect for all his work so I’d like to dedicate him this mix. Not the most complete, focused on this century releases, nor the most documented, but a true and honest tribute.
