Located in Montpellier, South of France, I’m running this podcast as a music lover and sound explorer since 2009. Reggae, Afro music, Hip-Hop, Tropical stuffs, revisited instrumentals, remixed variations, dub versions, this podcast is brimming with delicious music patiently assembled in hundreds of themed mixes.
It’s also a place for hosting very special guests like all the artists, Dj and labels managers which have gathered exclusive 10 Tracks playlists or Guest Mixes for this podcast, and also a regular Reggae show named Heavy Sound & Vision, by Jesse Allen.
Being initially into Metal and Hardcore music, my tastes have obviously evolved through the time, from Techno Rave / Jungle and Trip-Hop to what this place became today after following the threads of musical history: a blend of Afro legacy and digital patterns. And that’s all this podcast is about, the free from compromises or any commercial constraints long term tastes evolution of a passionate guy.
I’m also an occasional DJ but a sharp selector, with a few dozen evenings under my belt in Paris (Batofar, Alimentation Générale, Petit Bain, le Chinois, Comptoir Général, etc.) and Montpellier (Discopathe, Nu Bahia, Taverne du Perroquet, etc.), mixing Reggae / Dancehall, Afro-Tropical and Electronic sounds in some eclectic but highly danceable sets.
After collaborations with Groovalizacion and LaMixtape.fr collectives, I’m joining in 2025 the Diggers Radio team, always on the lookout for new vibes, in order to share discoveries, favorites, and sense of sonic travel.
