Breakbeat Airways

This one has a special taste. A nostalgic aftertaste of the nineties. At this moment electronic music began to be mixed with everything around, and specially with jazzy loops, thanks to some labels particularly involved in that new sound. Ninja Tune of course but not only, lot more were part of it : Cup of Tea, Wall of Sound, Pussy Foot, Mo’ Wax… For this mood I’ve made a small selection into their productions and added some recent tracks matching this special feeling, kind of “soul voices over breakbeat jazz” one. Here’s the result.
