I’ve already made an episode dedicated to african Hip-Hop in the past. Abass Abass, Pee Froiss were among others the rappers I choose to highlight for their amazing flow and traditional African side of their instrumentals. This Volume 9 of Afronomy series uses the same recipe but with a big focus on real African rappers, coming from several different countries of the continent. Tracks are not always matching the same mood but creativity and energy are the red thread of this playlist : a breath of fresh air that sweeps away most clichés that accompanies this music for about thirty years. Ready for a bit of change ?
