Following earlier Afrobeat Hip-Hop episode months ago, here is a new attempt to gather fire and flamboyance of afrobeat instrumentation with sharp flows and claims of angry rappers. It’s a big melting pot of african and american MC’s, remix and original tunes, which keep a common energy directly coming from the original vibration of Lagos suburbs. A bit like Hip-Hop and Jazz those two genres goes particularly well, probably because of strong common origins. But after all, birds of a feather flock together, right ?
